How to tell us something on Frequo infringes your copyright, and how to answer a notice.

We respond to notices of claimed copyright infringement, including under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Notice. Include your contact details; the work you say is infringed; where it appears on Frequo (a link or the channel and time is enough); a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove or disable the material quickly and tell the listener or account affected.

Counter-notice. If material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send our agent your name, address and phone number; what was removed and where it was; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any district where we may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the notice; and your signature. We send it to that person, and we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days later unless they tell us they have gone to court.

Knowingly false notices or counter-notices can make the sender liable for damages. In appropriate circumstances we close the accounts of listeners who repeatedly infringe, and we stop reading X accounts that are the subject of repeated valid notices.

If your concern is that your own X account is read on Frequo, you do not need a notice: remove your account from Frequo and it comes off the air at once. To report a single post, use the Report button in the player or write to support@frequo.app.
